CURRENT PROJECTS
Erie Family Health Centers – K + P Advisory is serving as the owner’s representative for Erie Family Health Centers on their new project in West Garfield Park. Erie will operate a new, 15,000 square foot health center that is projected to serve 6000 unique patients. The project is scheduled to break ground in early 2024 and open in 2025.
2024 Democratic National Convention – K + P Advisory, LLC was selected to serve as owner’s representative for the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. The owner’s representative serves as the in-house expert on design, construction, and event contracting and works as a part of the larger team responsible for preparing the United Center and its surroundings.
IFF – K + P Advisory is serving as the owner’s representative in support of a major renovation to residential units in Homan Square. The scope of work includes reviewing project scope, budget, and schedule; assist with procuring 3rd party vendors; oversee development of schematic design, design development and construction drawings related to the program; draft an RFQ/RFP to select a general contractor; and conducting construction site observations to ensure the project is progressing on schedule and in accordance with the requirements of any contracts.
Chicago Sports Commission – K + P Advisory was engaged to support the first ever, NASCAR Chicago Street Race. Scope of work included developing a maintenance of traffic plan; coordinating vendors; liaising with relevant city departments including OEMC, CDOT, Police; developing a communications plan for local residents, businesses, hotels, and other stakeholders concerned with the impact to their venue; briefed various organizations, elected officials, and media.
Lake County – K + P Advisory supported a broadband assessment in Lake County. Duties and deliverables included developing a stakeholder engagement strategy; collaborating with stakeholders and community members, conducting stakeholder interviews; utilizing engagement; reviewing the current state assessment; and supporting the development of a Lake County Broadband Plan including strategy to execute.
Chicago Park District – K + P Advisory will be supporting efforts to design a strategic plan that will drive its future efforts to reimagine the purpose and structure of the Chicago Park District, including developing initiatives to strengthen the Park team, rethink its recreational programs and use of park spaces, and provide a blueprint to continue to steer the District into a fiscally sound future. The strategic plan will center diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility and be developed with robust internal and external stakeholder engagement and feedback processes.
Forest Preserves of Cook County – K + P Advisory is supporting the Forest Preserves with leadership training and succession planning. As the government sector faces unprecedented challenges, it is crucial to ensure a seamless transition of leadership, skills, and institutional knowledge. A well-structured succession plan not only safeguards the continuity of critical functions but also nurtures a new generation of leaders, fostering stability and innovation in government operations.
BOMA Chicago – K + P Advisory is serving as the owner’s representative and project manager for their headquarters relocation to a new building. K + P’s scope included working the designer to confirm program and floor plans, conducting weekly preconstruction and construction meetings, soliciting third party vendors for goods and services, review contractor’s safety plan, coordinating with contractor on low voltage work, and monitoring schedule and budget.
LBFE – K + P Advisory is serving as the owner’s representative on the envelope repairs project. K + P recently assisted LBFE on a grant application where the non-profit was awarded $100,000 funding from City of Chicago.
Beloved Community Family Wellness Center – K + P Advisory is serving as the owner’s representative for Beloved’s addition to their existing facility in the Englewood Community. The additional space will support their affordable primary health care, dental, and preventive education programs.
